Day 14 - (20th July)

Comments from Colin's diary:
"Today I decided to have a "rest" day. This is allowed in the program and the food choices are relaxed. In other words you can eat what you want. I must admit that I no longer felt like eating a huge dessert like I may have done in the past. I also didn't feel like eating a large amount of bread like I used to.
I did allow myself to have some chocolate croissants and this was nice. I have realised that in only two short weeks I have gradually transformed my eating habits without discomfort. Some programs are very extreme, straight from the off. This program allows you to change your eating happens to a more healthy diet, but it does it more gradually and so it is easier to stick to."

Tip - "Give yourself a treat from time to time. But make sure that you eat what you plan to eat and no more."

Here is what Colin ate on this day:
Breakfast
2 scrambled egg whites and mixed fresh herbs to taste.
A cup of herb tea.
No capsules of slimming formula today.
Mid-morning snack
A glass of 50% apple juice and 50% filtered water mixed with a heaped teaspoon of superfood.
Lunch
A mixed salad of lettuce leaves, spinach leaves, various herbs, onion, a clove of garlic, tomatoes, carrot, a few chopped up nuts and raisins.
All topped with some grated low fat cheese.
A glass of filtered water.
No capsules of slimming formula today.
Mid-afternoon snack
Two small chocolate croissants and a cup of coffee.
A glass of filtered water.
Evening meal (see picture above)
Chopped up chicken breast gently fried in some olive oil.
A small amount of wholemeal pasta with a little cheese.
Some stir fried garlic and mushrooms a small bed of salad leaves, cucumber and tomatoes.
Late snack (if necessary)
none
Other
During the day I also drank a few other glasses of water.
Exercise - none
