Day 25 - (31st July)

Comments from Colin's diary:
"A lot of the meals I have prepared so far on the program have been quick and easy to prepare with very little cooking time. I know for a fact that a lot of very healthy people eat quite a high proportion of raw foods. Whilst I could never go totally raw with my diet, it is surprising to me that many meals and ingredients have been raw.

Someone who enjoys cooking could create some wonderful meals from the various foods that can be consumed. My own modest efforts at creating meals from the program guidelines, hopefully give you some idea about how easy it is to do and how wide the range of "permitted" foods is."

Tip - "Be sure to eat some fruit and/or vegetables every day. Any diet that recommends these be completely eliminated is not sensible."

Here is what Colin ate on this day:
Breakfast
An omelette made from 2 eggs whites and one egg yolk, topped with a few herbs, some grated onion and a little grated cheese.
A cup of mild organic coffee.
A glass of filtered water.
Two capsules of slimming formula.
Mid-morning snack
A glass of 50% apple juice and 50% filtered water mixed with a heaped teaspoon of superfood.
Cup of herbal tea.
Lunch
A gently grilled chicken breast squirted with fresh lemon, a whole grated carrot, some sprouted beans and seeds, some diced cucumber.
A very small portion of steamed wild rice and wholemeal rice (some leftover for the evening).
Tall glass of filtered water.
Two capsules of slimming formula.
Mid-afternoon snack
A tall glass of Lean Protein Plus mixed with filtered water.
Evening meal (see picture above)
A small tin of drained tuna fish, a small portion of steamed wild rice and wholemeal rice.
A salad of spinach leaves, lettuce, cucumber, carrot, radish, green beans and a few herbs.
A small spoon of cottage cheese and a small slice of wholemeal bread.
A cup of herb tea.
Late snack (if necessary)
none
Other
During the day I also drank a few other glasses of water.
Exercise - 18 minutes
