Day 3 - (9th July)

Comments from Colin's diary:
"I am starting to think a bit more now about what I eat and when. I look on the labels more closely and I realise that I used to eat too many stodgy foods. I am quite pleased how easy it has been to come up with meal choices based on what the program says. Some of the meals can be made very quickly. I don't know if it is my imagination or not but my stomach feels a bit smaller inside and not so bloated."

Tip - "Look carefully at the food labels. Some so called diet products may be low in calories but they often have lots of sugar. Watch out!"

Here is what Colin ate on this day:
Breakfast
2 scrambled egg whites cooked with fresh tarragon
and sage herbs.
1 small slice of wholemeal bread with a little olive oil on it.
A small bowl of porridge with a pinch of sea salt.
Half a glass of apple juice mixed with a heaped teaspoon of superfood and topped up with some filtered water.
Two capsules of slimming formula.
Mid-morning snack
Banana.
Cup of herbal tea.
Glass of water.
Lunch
Whole chicken breast.
Handful of long green beans finely chopped.
3 cherry tomatoes.
Half a small cooked beetroot.
Half a small avocado.
Small handful of salad leaves.
Topped with a heaped spoonful of superfood salad paste (click here for details).
One capsule of slimming formula.
Glass of water.
Mid-afternoon snack
Two heaped tablespoons of cold porridge left over from breakfast (kept in fridge).
Cup of herb tea.
(Cold porridge may sound weird - in fact I'd never eaten cold porridge before but it was actually quite nice!).
Evening meal (see picture above)
Chicken breast cooked earlier in the day and kept in fridge.
Half a carton of Thai chicken soup.
A small bowl of muesli with rice milk.
A handful of salad leaves and a heaped teaspoon of humous.
Cup of herb tea.

(Very little time to cook this evening so I prepared a piece of chicken earlier in the day and kept the evening meal very simple to save some time).
Late snack (if necessary)
none

Other
During the day I also drank a few other glasses of water
Exercise - 41 minutes
