Day 5 - (11th July)

Comments from Colin's diary:
"What I have found so far is that the diet ideas in the program are quite easy to stick to. This is definitely NOT a starvation diet. In fact I noticed that by having proper Mid-morning snack and Mid-afternoon snack snacks I have not felt hungry. I am aware that you don't go very long without food and I think my body somehow realises this too. I really like the exercise methods in the program and they are very effective in the short time taken. The good thing is that anyone can do the program from a complete beginner to an advanced athlete. I am serious. Anyone will benefit. I reread that whole section and one can easily modify it to your own level of fitness. Full details are given for beginners, intermediates and advanced people - it's very clever."

Tip - "Ask yourself if you watch too much TV. It's no surprise that people who watch a lot of TV tend to be overweight. Be selective about what you watch."

Here is what Colin ate on this day:
Breakfast
A small slice of wholemeal bread toasted, topped with cottage cheese and sprinkled with sprouted seeds and beans.
Two heaped tablespoons of porridge made with water and rice milk.
A glass of 50% apple juice and 50% water mixed with a heaped teaspoon of superfood.
A glass of filtered water.
Two capsules of slimming formula.
Mid-morning snack
Banana.
Cup of herbal tea.
Lunch
2 pieces of smoked mackerel.
Some chopped up cucumber.
A small handful of sprouted seeds and beans.
Some fresh salad leaves.
1 chopped up spring onion.
1 chopped up mushroom.
Some finely chopped fresh herbs added consisting of
tarragon, sage and parsley.
Two capsules of slimming formula.
Glass of water.
Mid-afternoon snack
A glass of Lean Protein Plus mixed with water.
A few spoons of oatmeal porridge made earlier.
A cup of herb tea
Evening meal (see picture above)
A bowl of cream of tomato soup.
A bowl of muesli with rice milk.
Two small pieces of rye bread topped with cottage cheese and sprinkled with sprouted beans.
Cup of herb tea .
Late snack (if necessary)
A handful of homemade popcorn cooked in olive oil.

Other
During the day I also drank a few other glasses of water.
Exercise - none today, just a little stretching for 10 minutes.
