Day 6 - (12th July)

Comments from Colin's diary:
"I don't know if this is the right term to use for a man or not, but I have noticed that my complexion has improved a little. I am sure it's because I am eating a lot better than I used to. A few times over the past few days I have been able to plan what I intended eating. I noticed that when I didn't do this and was making my meal when hungry, without planning it, I was tempted to add more ingredients to the meal. So I will try to plan ahead more often until I get used to eating like this. I am sure in another week or so, this will be the case. I am going to a barbecue tonight and I have an idea about what I will eat."

Tip - "Try to plan what you are going to buy from the food stores before you go. Also, try not to go food shopping when you are hungry!"
Here's a picture of this evening's meal (see below for the full day's food):

Here is what Colin ate on this day:
Breakfast
Two scrambled eggs whites and chopped sage, tarragon and lemon thyme herbs to flavour.
A small bowl of muesli and one small piece of toasted wholemeal bread.
One cup of organic coffee with a little rice milk.
(My first coffee in over a week! Nice but I've not missed it.)
One glass of filtered water.
Two capsules of slimming formula.
Mid-morning snack
Half a large apple.
One nectarine.
Cup of herbal tea.
Lunch
One chicken breast chopped up and fried in a little olive oil.
Add one clove of garlic and a few chopped up fresh herbs.
When cooked add a little ready made Thai curry sauce and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Add this to a handful of fresh baby spinach leaves a grated carrot and one finely chopped spring onion.
Add a few sprouted seeds and beans.
Add a dropperful of Supertonic over the whole meal.
Half a glass of apple juice mixed with a heaped teaspoon of superfood.
Two capsules of slimming formula.
Mid-afternoon snack
A small slice of wholemeal bread topped with a tablespoon of cottage cheese and sprinkled with sprouted seeds and beans.
A glass of filtered water.
Evening meal (see picture above)
I attended a barbecue this evening and here is what I had:

A homemade burger made from lean beef mince.
A mixed salad, lettuce, green beans, sprouted seeds.
A small wholemeal bread roll.
A small amount of potato salad.
A few glasses of diluted apple juice and a small amount of white wine.

As a little treat for doing so well on the program so far I had a half a piece of homemade cake and a few heaped teaspoons of chocolate ice-cream.
(This is less than half of what I used to eat, but it was easily enough. Because it was a conscious decision to give myself a treat, I was able to eat it without feeling guilty!)
Late snack (if necessary)
none

Other
During the day I also drank a few other glasses of water.
Exercise - 30 minutes

(I try to make as many food items as possible organic.
Complete details on the diet and all exercise secrets,
are contained in the soon to be released program.)
